Run system update. It is a must to enable Snapd and install Linux Mint version 20.1. You will need to install the youtube downloader for Linux Mint 20.1. Reboot System. Run Video downloader. Download the Youtube video by copying and pasting its URL.
The YouTube downloader that works on Linux is youtube-dl. It will detect the video format and automatically pause or resume downloads when necessary. After downloading, you can play the downloaded video using your favorite media player. Alternatively, you can purchase music for your Ubuntu system from the Ubuntu Music Store. This way, you can listen to your favorite music wherever you go. But before you can download videos, you must first install the YouTube-dl program on your Linux Mint system.

Tartube uses a downloader to interact with websites like YouTube. Tartube officially supports two downloaders,youtube-dl and yt-dlp. (Other forks of youtube-dl will probably work as well.)
Update - Installs or updates youtube-dl, as described in 6.2 Updating the downloader. On MS Windows, also installs FFmpeg (see 6.4 Installing FFmpeg / AVConv), matplotlib (see 7.30 Graphs not visible) and streamlink (see 6.24 Livestreams) 2ff7e9595c
